Private Tutor, Chicago

Full-time tutoring role working with a nine-year-old pupil. 

A family based in Chicago are looking for a private tutor to support their nine-year-old son. They would like to keep ticking him over academically while developing his wider interests. The pupil is bright and has huge potential. 

The parents are highly educated and looking for a tutor who can provide support after school and prove to be a positive mentor in their sons life. 

This will suit a tutor who is keen to develop their educational qualifications. The family would be happy to support the tutor combining a postgrad at the University of Chicago, arguably the leading educational institution in the world. During the longer term holidays the family will travel.

Ideal candidate

Degree educated from a Russell group university.  

Must have a strong academic record and speak French 

The tutor must be able to act on his or her own initiative, be out-going and motivated 

A career minded tutor wanting to develop their skill-set 

If the tutor spoke Spanish this would advantageous.

 

Further Information

Hours: The tutor will be expected after school hours with one day-off per week 

Accommodation: TBC

Flights, insurance and visas will be covered by the client 

Salary - based on experience (£60,000 as a benchmark)

Should a masters or course be selected at the university of Chicago this could be negotiated into the contract. 

Four weeks annual leave, agreed a month prior to taking holiday

One year contract with the option of renewing 

Start Date; September
