To prepare two pupils for entry to a top Independent school in the UK.
The pupils are currently educated at an international school in Hyderabad following the PYP program. The tutorial program would follow the UK curriculum to strengthen the pupil's knowledge and underpin the key foundations in KS2 and KS3. This will ensure they are prepared for any upcoming assessments they may be required to sit to gain entry to a school in the UK.
The expectation would be for the tutor to work a six-day week, up to five hours per day; focusing on English, Maths, Science and Reasoning skills - typical working hours would be between 15.30 and 20.30. For dinner, the tutor would be encouraged to discuss the news of the day - increasing their engagement in wider cultural interests.
On a Saturday it has been suggested that the tutor creates a project based assignment which can be worked on together. This will allow both pupils to develop their critical thinking and creative skills. This can be combined with field trips and visit to parks, museums, galleries etc...
